Alvant designed permanent magnet rotors with an AlXal magnet retention system allows for new product design and retro-fit solutions to improve efficiency, increase power density and  speed whilst reducing assembly costs.

The Alvant magnet retention system leverages the high-strength and stiffness of AlXal with its unique low eddy current generating properties provided by a highly diaelectric fibre reinforcement. This provides a metallic composite equivalent of carbon fibre composite but with retained mechanical and electrical properties at high-temperatures.
